Introduction
Originally part of the College of Engineering, the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science was established in August, 2005.Through the combination of electrical engineering, computer science and educational management, the college is well-known for applying theories and practices in teaching and learning. Each of our departments has 40 to 50 years of history since being established. Focusing on educating our students to use creativity wisely, encourage innovation and actively promote entrepreneurship. Each department in our college consists of master and doctoral programs. There are more than 20,000 alumni graduated from our college. Their contribution to Taiwan’s economy has earned recognition in all sectors of community. The college is currently made up of the following departments: Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (1964~), Department of Electronic Engineering (1966~), Department of Electrical Engineering (1972~), Department of Information and Computer Engineering (1973~), Undergraduate Program in College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (2009~), Master Program in Communication Engineering (2010~), Undergraduate program of Applied Artificial Intelligence (2017~).
